Access:
First time users:
Your best first point of contact is Heli Eunike (heli.eunike@ubc.ca), who can help discuss your needs and direct your enquiry as appropriate.
You will be asked about what you would like to do, and what instruments you might want to access. It is also valuable to communicate your timelines and expectations. We operate the facility as both as a place where users obtain training, and conduct their own experiments/analysis, and we also operate as a “fee for service” for one off tasks, or more complex projects.
If you wish to have work done via the Electron Microscopy Laboratory, we ask you to complete a client access form, and email this to Heli.
Once you have submitted the client access form, and it is reviewed by the team, you will be provided access to our training portal which contains technique and instrument specific training materials.
The costs to use the equipment are found on the pricing page.
